He will be a big miss as a squad player.
If Bobb or Palmer are his replacement it’s a huge downgrade.

Players very rarely leave City without a good word to say about the club. I know it's all a bit of spin and PR, but it does reflect a very well run club that treats players the right way

IMO the best winger we've had over the last 15 years!
5 years probably the only reason he's not being considered a City Legend but honestly his legacy will last a lot longer than many others because of:

I just listened to the 9320 podcast about him and in think they got it about right with fans attitude to him, the penalty miss against lfc and his lack of real engagement with the fans (and sometimes for me he didn't seem fully engaged with what or team were achieving) didn't endear him. But there were key moments we couldn't have done without him.
Maybe not a statue candidate but certainly instrumental in the treble.
