I was in the scoreboard end. Great night and a rare goal from George Heslop!

I was 7 years old and went with my uncle who had paid a fortune for tickets in the seats (cantilever stand close to the Stretford end) and we went 1 down after 1 min, my uncles face was a picture as I thought he was going to burst into tears, but it was brilliant being surrounded by rags 90 mins later some actually crying .....
It was then I knew I was a blue for life !!

Went to a match at the Etihad 3rd December 2008 we were playing PSG in Europe, those twats were also at home the same night playing Blackburn Rovers in the league cup. I was basically one of a small minority on the Metrolink who were Blues and was wearing my colours .
I got dogs abuse from one particularly vociferous loud gob shite of a Rag that I have never forgotten. How I wish I had got his details at the time so I could give it back in spades.

I’ve just commented on the Micah Richards post to another blue who was using Fergies dead wife to insult MR …..I called it out as in poor taste but his/her replies just show a classless attitude to the dead …..just so glad our away fans were Uber respectful when it mattered and loud and proud throughout the game
