I wonder if Wembley are driving this. In with all the tickets was a copy of their T&C's, expressly saying you cannot sell tickets on. I suppose if they then get on to City saying tickets are being 'advertised' on FB, they might be obliged to do something?

What about selling via bluemoon ... should that be banned now?
 
I'm guessing rather than snooping it's fairly easy to search facebook for tickets for sale maybe the club or Wembley just did that. From there if he has put the sale of tickets on 'open' sale then that's very different from messaging friends saying he had 2 spare tickets which I suppose would be hidden and the club wouldn't see that. There is a difference between buying 2 extra tickets for friends and appearing to put them on open resale on facebook. Probably just a bit off naivety but he would have to convince the club that's all it was.

How would you able to search for tickets for sale if it was posted by an individual on their facebook account? I didn't think the facebook search function worked like that, twitter yes but facebook no.
