Didn't they do something similar to some who bought ticket for the game in Monaco? Not banning but warned them not to sell on or something?
I wonder if Wembley are driving this. In with all the tickets was a copy of their T&C's, expressly saying you cannot sell tickets on. I suppose if they then get on to City saying tickets are being 'advertised' on FB, they might be obliged to do something?Didn't they do something similar to some who bought ticket for the game in Monaco? What about selling via bluemoon ... should that be banned now?Bit of a dumb thing to do to use FB for anything as the world can snoop, but I still don't know what he's actually done wrong.
If he'd sent a group text to all his 'friends' he'd have been according to the club 'as guilty'.
I don't think the original email we all had suggested that you must vouch/name the persons the tickets were for.
Nobody knows who sells and not on bluemoon that's the point FB is open to the world. What about selling via bluemoon ... should that be banned now?
I'm guessing rather than snooping it's fairly easy to search facebook for tickets for sale maybe the club or Wembley just did that. From there if he has put the sale of tickets on 'open' sale then that's very different from messaging friends saying he had 2 spare tickets which I suppose would be hidden and the club wouldn't see that. There is a difference between buying 2 extra tickets for friends and appearing to put them on open resale on facebook. Probably just a bit off naivety but he would have to convince the club that's all it was.
Do any of you think we might be watching FC CITY OF WEST GORTON in about 4 or 5years?
