Thanks Pep for calling out the ref (and Liverpool fans)

Nope he was the last man..no attempt to play the ball ..it would have to be a red..
There’s no such thing as “last man”, it’s whether it was denying a clear goal scoring opportunity. There’s an argument it was denying that, but “last man” isn’t in any football rules.

I was talking about the first half, foul and potential pen on Phil, potential red card for judas, that should have been properly VAR reviewed for both
Not clear cut. Defo a foul but hard to say inside or not. Poor all round anyway

Nice to see him getting some deserved love considering that literally 2 days ago there were people moaning about him praising Liverpool.

Pep's been through more than enough shit with this club now in his tenure to ensure we shouldn't be questioning his affections.

Still think he was last man and there’s a case for a red. Also I would need to see it again but I saw it as a minor infringement outside the box and then a clear foul in the box.
The way I see it is the ref should allow an advantage to the attacker (Foden) for the initial coming together outside the box, which never stopped him in his tracks, then theres two individual coming togethers initiated by Milner, either one could’ve been called a pen due to the clumsy nature. In this case you have to ask yourself what if Milner completely wiped him out? would people be saying take it back It’s a free kick outside the box? has that ever happened in the history of football? You then start to understand the ineptitude of the officials & their willingness to hide behind VAR & it’s rules/laws to affect the results, this will be further compounded by despot Dermot on ref watch who’ll cite the referee has followed the laws blah blah & got it right even though it was wrong

Should be a police matter irrespective.
It’s probably not in the law this, but I’ve mentioned in another thread that I think the human trait of spitting at other humans is a very ancient human trait that was used as a weapon to spread disease to other families/tribes.

And in a time of a pandemic, that’s got to be a serious criminal offence!

Fucking disgusting!

I think today is the best I’ve ever seen and heard from Pep in his whole time with us.

He laid it all out there today. He went mad at the officials during the game, took a booking, gave their fans some shit when we scored, came over to the fans and thanked us for our support, and then gave it both barrels in the post-match interview. He even mentioned United getting decisions!

Anyone think Pep will be asked to explain himself over his ref comments?
It wasn’t just about this ref, it was about the whole lot of them and he even mentioned Old Trafford being a place that refs ref differently.

But I’m not sure he will because at first he didn’t actually want to answer the question and then only opened up when he was asked a second time.
