Without doubt the greatest striker to play for City in the last 30 years. Arguably the greatest player to play for City in the last 30 years.
But let's be pragmatic. He's probably not going to get any better, he's in the last year of his contract and if he's not going to sign a new contract then let's get what we can for him. If he stayed I'd doubt he'd have the impact he had in his first two years.
A catalyst for City in terms of his performance on the pitch and also in terms of raising our club's profile both in this country and internationally.
Taken from United in a show of strength and a statement of intent which, despite their claims, embarrassed them. Then rubbed their noses in the dirt from literally a great height in our very own city centre.
For that alone, Carlos Tevez deserves to be remembered as a legend.
