Still not happy about him and some of his antics, but we would not have won the Prem had he not returned towards the end of that season.
Sick of hearing this myth.

Dont recall anyone else setting up Nasri against the chavs

A fantastic bit of business by our club, getting rid of Tevez in the final year of his contract when he was going to walk away for nothing. Saved us in the region of 17million in wages and bonuses in final year plus we got 10/12 million as a fee very smart work.

The reality is Tevez would have cost circa 27 mill for this season, madness to keep him.

Yes we do now need a replacement but we have some money to get one plus a hell of a lot of wages off the payroll, a no brainer.

Thanks for the memories and undoubtedly a major part of where we are now, time to move him on though, good luck for the future Carlos.

Maybe if Tevez wasn't playing we would've won more comfortably. No one knows.

so Van Persie was worth 25 million, injury prone, and 29 years old; whereas Carlitos only worth a paltry sum. Yes I know about the wages, but Van Persie was not working for free at Arsenal either.

someone please explain

The fact there was a very serious bidding war between at least two clubs helped push the price up a considerable amount. He's also a better player.

And he's never shown a propensity for fucking off home for 6 months when things get a bit tough, or repeatedly stating he wants to finish his career in another country.

Adiós Amigo.

Watching him hunt down defenders was a true highlight of his time with us for me. His humiliation of the twat Neville, his spat with Terry and the grave stone incident an added Brucie bonus.
