That’s it, problem solved.

It’s not even like it’s nice in our cheaper corporate areas. It’s like a nice canteen in a decent work’s offices and the Ardwick pub one is like something like a Harvester or Beefeater.

Nice enough, but hardly high class.

Dress shorts should be allowed for fuck’s sake. They are literally warm weather smart-casual wear, and there are days where it’s too hot for long pants.

To think this nutcase of an employee at City thinks tracksuit fucking bottoms are more suitable than shorts like these above… I’ve got to be honest @paulkidd i think I’d have told him to get real and just walked in.

Isn't the OP taking this a bit too seriously? If it had happened to me I would turn up at the next game wearing a ballgown or a gorilla suit and continue wearing random costumes for the rest of the season that look daft but comply with the dress code.

One of the best parts of being a blue is about having a sense of humour and embracing the ridiculous.

Why do they have dress code for football matches ?

If a player took his shirt off he will be given yellow card, and if a fan did it he will be kicked off or what !

Sorry for what happened to you mate, and hopefully the club will be wise enough to apologies to you.

I was fortunate enough to be in the Club Wembley seats for the Stoke final, and you couldn't wear a replica shirt in there. Maybe something to do with it being a mixed area. Scarves were fine, though. Don't know if it's still the same in there.
