obsessing over it tells them it's worked, so yes that is embarrassing IMO. What the banner itself says isn't really embarrassing because it's a testament to the loyalty of the support, and we're bound to win a trophy fairly soon anyway.

The banner at old trafford (seriously OP, "owed salford"?) is a good laugh, but when you win a trophy, which you will in the next year or so, I hope we can just take it down, maybe replace it with a tribute to giggs or something, but I'd hate to see it replaced with a league counter or something like that, it would look a bit desperate on our part.
