This would explain it.If I am not mistaken the guy played the Last Post on a trumpet and not the traditional bugle. The trumpet gives a more accurate sound on the notes whereas a bugle had no keys and it is all lip work.

Exactly thisIt was that good, that for a second I thought it was a recording being played.
Yep, jokingly I said that was perfect, this bloke must be from the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band.It was that good, that for a second I thought it was a recording being played.
Found it. God, he approached it perfectly.
I always give it my full attention at the match, but it's when I'm home alone listening to it, shakes me to the core. The Last Post always brings a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes.
A very moving tribute played impeccably on the bugle.
I thought he played it brilliantly.Has anyone got a clip of it?
Incredible performance from the young lad yesterday. In 20 years of attending Armistice Day games, I've never heard a Last Post performed so impeccably.
Note perfect throughout.
It got me properly emotional. To stand up in front of 55,000 and perform like that took serious guts. Fantastic stuff - his family should be proud.
Magnificent rendition very emotionalI thought he played it brilliantly.
