Time to throw as much money as possible at Spurs for Vertonghen. He is a natural LCB/LB, has a great partnership with Kompany for Belgium, is still young enough and will definitely be up for moving away from Spurs in search of Champion's League footy if they fail (which they will) to qualify this year.

Late bid for Mangala, deal doestn happen and we think, well OK we come back in the summer. What a stupid thing and we pay the price now of seing Lescott, Demichelis playing every game, sometimes together (Watford, Wigan=awful defending)...

Also the bid for Fernando, thank God Fernandinho and Yaya arent injury prone at all, they miss a few games, but rarely injured back to back or similar. If one of them would be out for 2 months we would have to see Garcia or Demichelis as def. midfielder like vs Chelsea in league.

We knew which positions we need to strengthten in January and ended up not doing it. Last summer as well, bids for Pepe, oh well maybe Demichelis will be enough as well. The big fat fucking hell...
