When you play 6 minutes of added time and there are no further stoppages why do play 7 minutes?

I thought he was OK, he didn't play it by the book but not to the heavy disadvantage of a team. I've seen far worse.
He got Kompany's tackle spot on, and I would leave that Dzeko incident off it was a bit bizarre. Can't tell what's happening in the crowd around but to be fair Dzeko milked it too. Only bad call in that one was no drop ball which makes the yellow card a no brainer.
Other than that I thought he did well, given how nervy we were, and didn't fall for everton looking for soft fouls.
The offside Lukaku goal was the lino. That was definitely offside.
We were just nervy unnecessarily. Couldn't get a sniff of the ball at times. But a win is a win. No more attractive football needed. Just as long as we win the rest.

I think he booked him for bad mouthing, Probert was showing it to Kompany when he asked about it. DZeko was nervous about Probert denying him a clear corner in first half, and he denied a clear throw in for Silva minute before and Edin was protesting again. I guess Dzeko probably said him something nice while lying down :D
But to award foul in that situation for Everton was a joke. Dzeko was nowhere near the ball and Fernandinho surely didn't make foul too.

if the goodison crowd had been up for this , probert would have caved in , but everton fans quite happy to put up an acceptable performance from their team and enjoy the martyrs next few days of torture.
