There was nothing wrong with dzeko. If that had been an opposition player we would have all been livid. The guy was just faking. It reminds me of Liverpool last year where he went down and faked injury. Then seconds later Liverpool scored and he got up and started screaming at the linesman.

The man was taking the piss.

Are you a City fan?

Dzeko was obviously in pain and for the rest of the match he was keeping away from any contact with anyone, it was obvious his shoulder or arm was hurting him. For a referee to refuse treatment for any player is disgraceful Someone near me said that Probert obviously has something against Edin because he always seems to treat him badly.

The ref and the linesman were terrible.

Thought he did well personally. Didn't really bottle anything, and was right to book Dzeko for being a bellend for 5 minutes (time wasting).

Was very dodgy ground not letting the physio on though.

Of course, had we not won, my views may change - I don't remember much of the game being honest.
It was stupid from the ref. all he had to do was let them tke him off and then he had to get treatment from the sideline and we carry on with 10 men. To stop the physio coming on and stand there waiting for dzeko to get up was retarded. As if he was going to get up.

Really annoyed me that he added on an extra 45 seconds on top of the six mins at the end. Contrast that with Klanfield the other week when Twattenburgh blew up on exactly 5 minutes despite substitution and time wasting in injury time.

He pointed at his watch on at least 3 occasions during injury time. I know that I would want it all added on if it was the other way around. Can't knock him for it, others should do the same.

We were lucky it was only 6 tbh considering Dzeko was down for over four minutes

Yes. I'm just not blinkered and can see when someone is taking the piss....

This is the most reasoned comment on here. Dzeko was milking it. He wanted to see if the ref would allow a medic on. -the ref had already made his mind up that Dzeko was not hurt. Lay down for 6 minutes - then walked off stretching his shoulder. At the end Dzeko was applauding the fans with both arms above his head. The ref had a word with Naissmith who wanted treatment after his chin had caught Fenys shoulder. He wasn't hurt either.Played on when ref had a word. Some of these players should get out and about on a Saturday night - I am sure they would not lay down so easily after a little tickle/smack.

He's spot on though! Do you really think dzeko was injured?

Yes I do, do you have any proof otherwise?

Do you have any proof he was injured? He seemed remarkably spry just seconds after he had been lying on the floor :-)

I've noticed there are no "how bad is dzeko's injury" thread on bluemoon!
