That there London

I'm (honestly) not a beer snob but Cruzcampo is pretty crap in this country. I had some in Spain earlier this year, thought it was decent so was more than happy to get some from Tesco's.

Problem is that it's different to the the Spanish one. So it doesn't taste the same nor do you get the enjoyable buzz that you get from the marginally stronger Spanish version.

Off topic but do we have a beer thread?

Always check the label. If what you know to be a good continental beer is shown as being brewed in the UK, walk away.

Corona and Madri are good examples. Imported bottles or cans are good quality. UK 'versions' are shite.

Sadly, Estrella is now being brewed under licence in the UK. Another fine beer down the pan.

Was it cans?

I always find cans taste shit anyway

The pubs started to die when that shit came in, fucking arseholes 1 behind the other when there's a full bar to stand at, problem is they are the majority now, so if you stand at the bar and not in the queue then apparently your out of order
It would have to be the last pub on earth for me to queue up

Someone once told me the same about bottled Guinness years ago. There was a time when shops and supermarkets had bottles that said "brewed in Ireland" Not a connoisseur so don't know if it was true. Could have been an urban legend for all I know

They sell Guinness brewed in Nigeria in Sainsbury's, 7.5% and its bloody awful!

Madri was devised in and is produced only in the UK isn't it?
