That there London

I enjoyed my weekend in London apart from the football.
Spent time In the city/bank area, borough market/London Bridge and Camden and didn’t get mugged or stabbed so happy days.
I don’t think I paid less than 7 quid though for a Guinness so you could say I did get robbed. Think one place charged me £8.45!

Over priced shit hole, Manchester it following the same route.

Went in the Blind Beggar in Bethnal Green before West Ham away and paid £7 a pint for Bluemoon!
They have two cats roaming about the pub called Ronnie and Reggie !

Had a great trip to Wembley this weekend with my son, chatted to some interesting people, had a lovely meal down Camary Wharf, spent a fortune but that’s what you expect in London

Currently enjoying some fantastic beer at The Bear in Paddington.
Staying off the football related discussions on here for a while due to too many entitled fuckwits, so will stay in the land of "off topic" for a while to discuss beer, music, running and swimming!
That's a decent place. Never seen so much choice. Paid £11.50 for a pint and some pork scratchings last time I was in there though.

Give The Cow on Westbourne Park Road a go if you get the chance. (You may know it already of course).

When travelling south and going to the arse, we always use Spoons-Islington, due to its infectious clientel, low prices, cordial atmospherics, dry timbers and the Joy De Vivre shown to the man in the Street.

It's walkable up London road, avoiding the taxi "oinks" who seek to reduce fiscal pounds in a cost of living crisis.

If we're going to the West End to see a show, then we also use Islington-Spoons for pre dinner aperitfs, hoers des overie, and canopies, owing to the immediate proximity of the Angel tube that's across the Rd.

Stay safe, protect the pot, and never be spanked. That is all;
Cor blimey guvnor! Yous knows the smoke so you does.

Well here I am in The Bear. They have beer that is £16/pint, and frighteningly, that isn't their most expensive...

There was one there that was £25 a pint on Saturday. However, it was about 12.5% so you definitely wouldn't want more than a third of that.
The beer on hand pumps was all a reasonable price though, from what I can remember!
