That W**ker from the guardian

It is lost in translation, they had double sessions when Mancini took over but he didnt have them running around like fucking headless chickens twice a day, he was trying to sort out the defence and has succeeded in my eyes. As for the twice a day training now just ask the lads that go and watch, it's bollocks.

Regardless of whether he claims to support Forest, he acts as Ferguson and United's mouthpiece and has done for years.

He hasn't.

It's "Lost in translation"

Expect an apology from the papers is 3 weeks time about it.

oh right, i must be missing something here, what's the original story then?
The story is "City management schedule training sessions; ruin football".

Guardians switchboard number: 0203 353 2000 - Ask for Daniel Taylor in the sports department.

Call him up, he was about 5 minutes ago, I just had a go (without swaering - a grown up go) about his article being a re-hash of the Mail article but with an anti-City slant.

He said that wasn't true and he was just reporting the facts. I disagreed and said he was a lazy rag jopurnalist.

Your turn guys!

he's a daft lad that guardian boy. He is a Forest fan, although he's got previous in terms of nastily spun articles about city - but to be fair, he's also said some good things.

Shame he has to feel he has to do things like this - to get attention? You wouldn't find Sid Lowe doing something like that I don't think? I think he's based in manchester, so if anyone sees him lets have a polite word over a sandwich and coffee. He really doesn't need to sensationalise like this - if you read the Mail piece, carlos just comes across as a nice guy.

Re: the golden jubilee - didn't see that article, but overall the guardian made ammends for the pre munich game hype by having some great articles on city being impeccable from kevin mccarra and david conn. They had produced some rubbish in the run up to the game - I distinctly remember scholes breaking his silence to say he expected city to be singing nasty stuff - he never got challenged about the wenger / liverpool / hillsborough stuff the rags come up with of course - the interviewer - daft lad Daniel I think

re: people saying the guardians an awful red paper - get off! City are the team of the city, a city based on industrial labour and spiritual home of the guardian. The tories are the team of the rich, f**k the poor, as we'll soon find out when idiots vote them in on May 6th[/quote]
thats a whole lot of fukcin dogshit for your first post lennin

There is nothing controversial in the Tevez quotes for me... He is trying (in another language) to not say anything to inflame the situation - I would guess on instruction from City. Saying he is indifferent to the poster and that it would have been better for him if it hadn't happened is hardly 'criticising' the club. Especially when we know he had a giant one made up for his house. He is just saying that because it is his way of not making it an issue, surely? Who cares?

Sure he was asked about the double training sessions and answered honestly, but then stresses that he has no problem with Mancini.

I was tired this afternoon and didn't want to work, but I've no problem with my boss for not sending me home.

Something and nothing. Very good interview all around. Let them scrabble around for controversy - it's their job, and we'll have to get used to it if we want to be involved in big games.

It's clear the players are responding to Mancini and they are reaping the benefits - sure they are quite happy with the ways things are going.

I see Daniel Taylor's at it again with another anti-City piece based on the same Daily Mail interview. To anyone who doesn't see the bias compare the City article <a class="postlink" href="http://bit.ly/cMLU9n" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://bit.ly/cMLU9n</a> to the United one <a class="postlink" href="http://bit.ly/9BgOUL" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://bit.ly/9BgOUL</a>

If anybody wants to find out what's going on with Taylor and The Guardian, try mailing the Sports Editor, Paul Johnson. For the person you're sending it to, Guardian emails are: forename.surname@guardian.co.uk
So that's paul.johnson@guardian.co.uk

Might as well copy Taylor in as well.
