For most on here I understand the hate against her but I am younger and was never in any position where she affected me to a point I knew. I was 5 when she left office and the first prime minister I remember was Major (my claim to fame is I wired up his electrical garage door, lol)
So what I really dont understand is people younger than me rejoicing in it when they with the exception of a small few will have absolutely no idea what she did in power and are just repeating what there parents have said/told them to think
Anyway as I stand half my family hated, half didn't and I really have no feeling either way. Something about mines I should add as its her legacy

With regard to buying council houses, the original proposition came from the Labour party around the early sixties, I think, and was included in its' manifesto. My father bought his in 1970, as did quite a few others.
