That's 2 strikers now who's heads have gone. Mario now Dzeko

How much did Balo cost? Great player but contributed bugger all this season and eventually had to be sold. Now banging them in for Milan. How much did Dzeko cost? Now looking totally demoralised and not a patch on the player who was banging them in in Germany. Will undoubtedly have to be sold, and anyone fancy a bet that he starts banging them in again once he's left? Mancini's man management really that great? You didn't even mention the epic fall out with Tevez....

Very disappointed in Dzeko. But how did Mancini allow this careless attitude to happen on his watch? Dzeko has been turning in these lacklustre performances for some time, and you'd think he'd want to prove his point, and you'd think the manager would sit down with the player months back and ensure his heart is in it. He's not given 100% for a long time.

Yes, something that most people have noticed except our manager and back room staff, apparantly. It's a pity Guidetti has not been fit enough to play a part in the last month, we could have seen whether he is going to be a player or not.
What about man management? Identifying a problem and fixing it

Disgraceful conceding 3 goals in 7 minutes and not having every player laying themselves down on the line for the trophy we won.

I am sceptical about Guidetti being good enough, but there are alternatives to playing Dzeko. You can play Nasri off Aguero or Tevez. But still I am annoyed that Dzeko's game has gradually deteriorated all season. I don't think you can blame the player entirely. It's part of the manager's job to get the best out of his players

You no doubt noticed that not a single player, nor even Platt nor Kidd, bothered to back Bobby's version of what happened. Tevez was an idiot, but this was a two-man tango that quickly deteriorated into war and then farce.

There is a trend. It's OK if you are 1st choice and playing, but if you are not some players need "managing". It's hard to say as a supporter, but from everything I have heard, I think Mancini expects all players to show a very strong mentality, but not all players are like that.

Agreed, but that's poor man-management on his part. High turnover at top football clubs is very expensive, but Bobby has demonstrated time and again before the cameras that he simply doesn't care about compliance with Fair Play Regs.

Marvin, I think you are arguing with me when I am actually agreeing with you.

I've always wondered why, when short of strikers, Bobby hasn't used Nasri as a second striker? Dribbles well in tight spaces and an excellent finisher in the box. Can identify and actually make a proper run, with an assist or goal resulting.

To be fair to Dzeko he has scored some important goals ( this season and last) and being on the bench all the time does not really help his form and confidence does it?. His goal return is still respectable in my opinion. He was never an all round footballer like aguero and tevez.

Mario should never have been sold.

We need some wise folks to start dealing with player transfers and we need our strikers to perform next season.

Did something happen with him and Mancini, or are we just upset with him because he was shit today?

We all know he'll go somewhere else and be back in form. I think part of it is our system, part of it is him going from being a star Striker at a title-winning club, and playing a bit-part role at our title-winning club.

I think Mancini would be right to publicly criticize his players and use his somewhat-dictatorial management style IF he was a fixture at the club and beyond reproach. If he has a few shit tactical decisions and costs us a trophy, he can't expect to play supreme leader and not have players questioning him. At least, that's how it is in most manager/employee situations. :-P.

Who thinks we really truly need this new pay system instituted ASAP? I think a lot of the apathy would be erased instantly. If a player knows he can fuck off to the bench or reserves and still pull in a few million a year, its a win/win whether he takes the manager's criticisms or decides to pull an Adebayor.
