The 2012 Olympics Thread - Its Over :(

Re: The 2012 Olympics Thread (5th August, Page 131)

There's something wrong with Federer his whole attitude looks off, like he's either ill or doesn't give a shit. Also notice the serve speed is in KPH and not MPH like at Wimbledon.

Really poor from Federer. I dont understand whats going on. Its not like Murray is outplaying him, Federer has been very poor due to some reason.

Probably because it the Olympics and not top of his priorities. Can you imagine him performing like this in a grand slam final? No chance.

He may prefer a Slam yes, but I'd say he'd rather win an Olympic Gold than a Masters 1000 event.

Murray's just playing brilliant here.
Since Sydney they've considered the Olympics as the fifth major behind the four slams. The only one of the top seven or eight tournaments that Federer hasn't won.

This will get lost in the tennis frenzy, but Max whitlock just got bronze and Louis Smith the silver on the pommel horse. Smith actually tied on points with the gold medal winner, but his execution scored slightly less. Well done, lads!
