Great opening ceremony.
ow for the main event.

It all boils down to another miserable attempt by our feeble bunch of athletes to win bronze and failing.

On the bright side we'll get to see Paula Radcliffe shitting in the gutter again.

I just had to quote this again from the night of the opening ceremony.

The current medal count is 16 gold, 10 silver and 10 bronze, only behind China and the USA, but the highest medal per population.

How wrong could you be... the last week has actually made me proud to be British.

Bolt's greatest weapon is his acceleration in the middle of the race. Gatlin and Blake will need to be 5 - 10 m ahead at 30m to have any chance.

It is a bit embarrassing to watch, all that posturing and preening. Watch a recording of the reactions of Ennis, Farah and Rutherford last night for the way to conduct yourself after winning the gold medal, not a semi final
