Starts for me tomorrow. Turning over the allotment patch and throwing first grass seed down and planting bulbs.

Love a bit of gardening and hoping to learn a bit more this year,

Any sensible tips on nice flowers or crops more than welcome.

Fucking hell Mate, It's been snowing for days here and I won't see the garden for at least 2-3 months.
I personally stick to perennials and shrubs. Can't be bothered with bulbs and the such.
Coneflowers, black eyed susan, phlox, irisis, clematis, peonies, columbine, hostas etc.
 
My Mrs plans an overhaul of the garden this year, I’m happy for her to do that and don’t mind a bit of digging or whatever but generally prefer sitting in my garden or chipping a few golf balls in it to working in it

Bit early for grass seed ? Think September is best call @jonnyonthespot
