The After Party at CO-OP LIVE

I think Noel and Liam will turn up and do some songs. It’s a no brainer. Wait until that leaks out, there will be an absolute mad scramble for tickets. Or, if it is kept quiet, City and Oasis fans will be gutted that they didn’t buy a ticket on the off chance Oasis will play a few tracks.
Hope that Curly Watts is onstage - a proper Blue when he was our most famous fan (after Eddie Large)...

Think it'd just be Liam as Noel would leave early

Level 3 - £12 - 1,259
Level 2 suite - £185 - 72
Floor - £15 - 1,479

Total - 2,810

God knows who's buying the £185 ones

I have never ever been in the business of slagging off our fans for attendances, as a season ticket holder i get it. It's mad expensive and all the rest of it.

BUT

I have to say I am pretty shocked and disappointed that this hasn't sold out instantly, especially after Monday night's news. It's £12-£20, on a bank holiday, not a late night, accessible and the goodbye do for arguably the greatest servant in this club's history. I think its a real poor show from our lot and I just don't get why people aren't bothering. Why is it?

There is no confirmation yet this will be anything to do with Pep leaving. Once / If that is announced the remaining tickets will fly out of the door, as it is its a celebration for the womens title ( which has already been celbrated at albter hall) and the Carabao / FA cups this would not usually result in an arena being sold out to celetbrate.

In my case it's because i dont wanna sit in an orchestrated atmosphere and be told when to whoop and holler, plus there's a free parade to show my appreciation of the club.

Yep. I’ll be there, but I’ll be on the street, having had a pint before (and after).
Each to their own, but it’s the parade option for me.

Probably because it comes down to a straight choice between that and the parade and most will attend the parade instead. If the timings were such that you could attend both then it would've sold out instantly. I think it's pretty shit that it's not possible to go to both so instead of digging the fans out, that's actually on the club. Look at the 2011 FA Cup parade - fans were able to go to the parade and then attend the event inside the stadium afterwards.

Been thinking about this after I was asked to go. The person who asked suggested the £185 tickets, I said I will not bother after earlier in the day wanting to go. Now I'm thinking how can the club now monetise a celebration parade. The more I think about it the less respect I have for the faceless ones driving this never ending roundabout if finding ways to get money from supporters. A parade has always been a way for supporters to line the streets to cheer the players as they pass, I know they are doing the short parade from northern quarter but it is to link with the money grabbing exercise st the Co op. I maybe a FOC and view things differently to younger people so I am sorry to say, that my view, is this Co op thing leaves a nasty taste in my mouth, and I wonder will the club ever stop looking at ways to fleece fans. A parade, especially the end, has always been and should always be free on the streets of Manchester not a pay per view at some concert hall. Sorry, but not really, if I upset some people;-)

If it's a special event(Pep farewell, keys to the City, new stand, big artist) it very well justifies the price imo. However we can be cynical that the club are now extracting every £ possible too.
