The After Party at CO-OP LIVE

I might be alone in swimming against the Nat tide, despite her being a massive blue since birth, but her voice to me is like nails down a blackboard and it's even worse since she got the turkey teeth fitted.
To me she just sounds like the rest of the Manc population and had a fantastic opportunity and good on her she was brilliant.

Yes but can’t see the stage because there’s a big bruised scrotum in the way and can’t see the screen because the bars holding the lights are in the way.

What brain dead person at the coop thought it would be great to put three large deflating so called Blue Moons inflatables right slap bang in the middle to block the view of those sat on top tier … absolutely well done you tool. On top of this, you could nt see the screen clearly for a lighting gantry blocking this out as well. All those in 311 310 should have their money refunded as this totally spoilt the evening some what . The tickets should have been sold as obscured viewing
Apart from that the team who organised the night should take a bow this was one to remember ..

Proper blue that's earned herself a cushy dream job. Fair play to her, she's a stunner who increasingly rarely isn't thick as mince. Hosting a live event infront of 20k people who are all watching and listening intently takes some doing so definitely not shitting on her, however, her presenting skills are reminiscent of an infant children's TV presenter, little bit too nicey nicey and over the top, she shines when doing matchday stuff with kids but feels a bit unnatural and awkward when it's with adults. Have no issue with her voice, just sounds normal to me.

The other lad doing it Cel is more of a natural at it, never watch it as I'm always at the match but I think he does the city live match day stuff. Also think FG is a good lad, more of a matey, relaxed style but it works well with the players who are around his age.

Me too, I was there with my eldest and all the memories winning them all came flooding back.

Fuck me, the red twats called him the Bald Fraud when he arrived.
I called him the bald fraud when walking out after the Villa game to be fair…

I’m 66 so kid is fair enough

If someone calls me "kid", or "our kid", I have no problem with it whether they are younger or older than me.

A good friend of mine from Hull always says it to me. He's younger than I am. I see it as really quite respectful. Tone and relationship with the other person obviously makes a difference.

Absolutely top top drawer event this put on by the club. We are such a fabulously run club (if you exclude the ticket office!) and we should all be so proud to be Blues. I was in bits at one point and shouting and singing at the top of my voice the next. No other event has made me feel the whole range of emotions in one evening. It was so good and we love you City we do.

Anybody encounter the horrible little rag urchins going down the escalator in Piccadilly station as we walked up the stairs after the party, around 21:40? Shouting rag shit at the Blues. About 6-8 of them i think, probably early twenties. Why do they all.look the same and how come they are always in a group? I shouted "Fuck off you rag cunts!" as we passed.

We will probably see any future trophy parades end up at the Co op rather than the newly refurbed town hall and Albert Square: The club will have made money on food , drink and ticket sales which can help on Enzo’s transfer budget this summer. Every little helps.
Its seen as a struggle by the club to get people to come to the area surrounding the geound and one they are working on with the hotel and bars/restaurants that will be coming on very soon.
So i agree, i can see more events at the coop to draw people in

Were they in town for their parade to see Bruno Rats assist trophy?
To be fair, it's 8 more than turned up for their 2011 parade.

Now like most on here I’m a fkin know all FOC but feel I’m impelled to say , (sit down you fkin FOC s) thank you Bobby ,thank you Pellers and certainly thank you Pep for some of the greatest football I’ve EVER seen in my 62 years Would love to know how to start a thread or provoke thought but can only ever post a reply Love you City , love you Pep , we go again xxxx greatest 12 years or so of my city life Of course I was there
I'll be 62 in a few months so by your reckoning that means I'm An FOC too, Nooooo.

Anyway, agree with the sentiment. As my brother said to me on Sunday 'I was 50 when Pep came, now I'm 60, if the next manager stays 10 years I'll be 70'. Ha, ha, ha, I don't think we'll ever see another manager stay for 10 years, I don't think we'll see the same footballing success or dominance again, it's been fantastic.

They are shithouses, easy option taking cowards, it’s all about being part of a pack and ‘ belonging’, giving it the big one, strutting about and basking in reflected glory. Complete gobshites like their mates down the East Lancs, two cheeks of the same arse.

The pie in the sky the rags have for old Trafford, a lot of the things they will want integrated into it to make it a 7 day a week venue. They have either been done or about to be done with one of the best arenas in the world, a hotel and food and drink options all on the Etihad campus.

Hopefully not. As much as the co op was decent, The town hall is tradition and also free for everyone to attend usually.
