I hate this that people bet on horses winning, celebrate but horses have died.
The whole industry stinks. If these owners loved these horses they would'nt destroy them because they broke a leg. They would look after them.
I would gladly see all horse racing stopped and certainly stop gambling on sports where animals are involved.
No problem with gambling as long as it regulated but on animals no.

I'll make one comment and then leave the right wing loonies to their usual vicious bullying.
All gambling is evil and,ultimately, no good comes of it.
Horse racing is a disgusting by-product of this.
I look forward to the day when both are banned forever.
Do people really care a horse got put down or are you just saying it because you feel you should? I couldn't give a toss, that doesn't make me a bad person. Plus, I've won a fortune so my own dick falling off wouldn't spoil my mood

The day everyone is a horse racing expert. Such a shame to see the gold cup hero go, should never of been running in first place. Anyone saying ban horse racing what about the MILLIONS of people it employes?
I feel really sad for the horses, (and their connections), that died pursuing a sport that they LOVE and are bred for, but will not enter into a debate about with the uninformed and ignorant
