Just STOP d*ckhead

I don't think the sport should be banned because it can be a good day out and everyone loves a flutter on the horses. But perhaps lowering the fences, limiting the number of horses running, shortening the course etc. could be good steps to take to avoid the needless death of horses.

1st, 3rd and 4th for me wooohooo.

Fantastic race, utter carnage at times which is awful to watch, but amazing animals these.

Presumably that's why you tipped up West End Rocker and none of the other three on here, you lying laughing stock.
You even said that Junior probably wouldn't run, which wasn't far wrong.
I just hope that finally everyone on here sees you as the utter joke you really are.

The logic of the ban brigade surely means people should also be banned from keeping any kind of pet.
After all, who knows how many thousands of pets of all species are neglected, mistreated or killed by their owners.
So we must ban it all now, so such tragedies do not occur in future. Who cares if it is only a tiny minority? We must ban this evil practice now.

Do me a favour. If it wasn't for racing, you'd have to go to a zoo to see a horse.

Tipped?! I said I thought WER had a great chance, how the fuck is that tipping?

Junior ran shit.

What the fuck was the need for this post?

One race a year the complete tools come out and say horse racing should be banned. Grand National day everyone gets a bit giddy watches the race and thinks it should be banned because a couple of horses die. Don't get me wrong I'm not an avid watcher however I've been watching a lot of it over the last year and this kind of stuff happens and its just unfortunate. I cringe every time a horse goes down because you just want to see it get back up and be okay.

However it is not a cruel sport and anyone asking for it to be banned is a tool. The whips are not specially designed not to mark or hurt the horse and in fact horses are that strong the whip just feels like a little flick. These horses are also among the best treated animals, most of them are treated better than humans so that cannot be used in an argument. Difference is horses cant survive without four legs, they're not like humans that can sit down, so some have to be put down if the fracture is serious.

Its a bad day today because I was gutted when I heard Synchronised had been put down, a horse that unbelievable at the Gold Cup maybe he shouldn't have ran after it ran off as it was clearly shook up, but Jockey, Medic and Trainer all felt it was up to the task and its just unfortunate.

Do people really care a horse got put down...

Yeah, I do. But I don't judge you, so you shouldn't judge me.

I winced every time a horse fell and only watched it because of the delayed start and was channel surfing at the time. That's not to say I think it should be banned, I just choose not to support it by betting on it. I watch and bet on other racing and even attend meetings from time to time.

I'm sure the animal cruelty donkeys will have a great platform, now that our favourite broadcasters- the BBC, no longer have the Nationals viewing rights...

I think the point that is trying to be made here is quite simple,we all know (well people who are into racing/or like having a bet on here) know you have a share in a racehorse,so some people will look at your "tips" favourably.

But you know more than anyone, tipping out in the national is a fucking no hope situation,it's anyones race as long as they get round, and in all fairness "tips" are what they are...tips

Somebody tried to give me a tip about something in my life a few years ago...guess what ...I told em to fuck off

So coming on saying you had 1st,3rd and 4th is like rubbing salt in wounds

By the way,so sorry to hear about synchronised and according to pete, crying shame that a horse that battled up that Cheltenham hill last month, wont be going back to try and repeat it next year
