You plonker.
Shut it you wallyYou plonker.
Nope, will do write up first thing in morning!
Ok. I am going to guess Rockpile -- Seconds of Pleasure.OK, here goes, can't do pic clues as I'm an old technophobe, who has to ask his 10yr old son to find stuff on his phone ;)
Band name is similar to what Alice welcomed us to?
Album name is what a cat lover may keep?
It is.So, Alice (Cooper) did welcome us to his nightmare, and similar to Nightmare, is the band .........BAD//DREEMS.
A cat lover may keep......DOGS AT BAY.
I saw them support Midnight Oil just before covid in Brixton, on arrival I asked the 8ft Aussie wearing their t-shirt the daft question of if they were any good, he had flown from Germany just to see them, and offered to pay for my ticket if I didn't like them....3 songs in, I was getting both (at time, now 3) albums.
A couple months later, they huddled in front the stage, psyching themselves up, and played like it was their cup final.....to a max of 30 of us in an upstairs room in a Brighton pub. One of best 3 gigs I've ever been to!
Original....no
Talented musicians....no
Self indulgent lyrics.....no
Take themselves seriously.....no
Working class blokes from Adelaide playing, what THEY like having a great time....absolutely!
Weirdly this is possibly, the only album, the only song I skip is the opener!!
Grab a few beers, play it loud, tap your feet to "cuffed and collared" and "dumb ideas" and end up singing the slower ones.....enjoy ;)
Hope it's on Spotify??
Produced by Mark Opitz, who did INXS's stellar Welcome To Wherever You Are. Sounds interesting. So, Alice (Cooper) did welcome us to his nightmare, and similar to Nightmare, is the band .........BAD//DREEMS.
