The Album Review Club - End of Round #9 Break (page 1904)

It's changeover day today, and as I mentioned last week, I've had to rejig the schedule a bit due to people taking a bit of time off the thread for one reason or another. Here's how the remainder of round #3 is currently looking:-

@denislawsbackheel - I know you said you couldn't make your original date, so I put you down as "end of the round" - just let me know what date suits you to join in again.

Unoriginal, decent enough for that not to matter. Continuing what seems to be a common bm theme of being critical on singers, the vocals kinda grate on me. Otherwise I'd happily listen to this a lot more. A solid 6.

Think I’ve been listening to a different album to some others. Found it OK in parts but rarely rose above that. The singer is weak, nothing stood out, certainly don’t get all the comparisons that others have mentioned, most outlandish of which was I think Roddy Frame/Postcard

Many thanks to @bennyboy for stepping in at the last minute last Thursday to give us all something to listen to.
He was rewarded with a slight uptick in numbers - 12 listeners giving James King and the Lonewolves an average of 6.58 and 13th place in the table.
