Ok, I'm going with option 2 as more people seemed to think it may be interesting. The clues are going to be too easy but it's not really an album that lends itself easily to clues but here goes anyway:

I was thinking something with Robbie Williams or Kylie Minogue but the clue is a well known artist doing a different well-known artist's stuff. Thought maybe it was that swing thing Williams did but it doesn't fit.
