The Album Review Club - Week #147 - (page 1942) - Blonde On Blonde - Bob Dylan

No idea what this thread is, but American Gothic of my top 10 albums, songs that make the heart ache in a good way. "Waiting for the moving van" and "One night stand" are almost unbearably sad, "Another Friday Night" just gorgeous.

One of the best sounding records ever made, as well. And that voice.

There is some good stuff on David's other records ("Down River" particularly), but this is by a distance the best.
Give it a score, I don’t usually fare too well in this thread, you might get me off to a good start at least

You can nominate a Coldplay album....but I would suggest telling your partner/kids you love them before falling asleep that night ;)
Rob runs a list of dates for people to nominate, so ask to be added if you fancy it.
In fairness if it was a choice between any Coldplay album, Mumford & Sons, and Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music it would be a tough call.
