It's a solid 9/10. Cheers. Each week, somebody nominates an album. We all listen, give a review and mark it out of 10. You’ve just provided a nice review, so feel free to leave a score.

YesIs it a Coldplay-free zone though ?
Give it a score, I don’t usually fare too well in this thread, you might get me off to a good start at leastNo idea what this thread is, but American Gothic of my top 10 albums, songs that make the heart ache in a good way. "Waiting for the moving van" and "One night stand" are almost unbearably sad, "Another Friday Night" just gorgeous.
One of the best sounding records ever made, as well. And that voice.
There is some good stuff on David's other records ("Down River" particularly), but this is by a distance the best.
I think he already gave it a 9.Give it a score, I don’t usually fare too well in this thread, you might get me off to a good start at least
He has you topping the board with an average score of 9…..Give it a score, I don’t usually fare too well in this thread, you might get me off to a good start at least
You can nominate a Coldplay album....but I would suggest telling your partner/kids you love them before falling asleep that night ;)Is it a Coldplay-free zone though ?
In fairness if it was a choice between any Coldplay album, Mumford & Sons, and Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music it would be a tough call. You can nominate a Coldplay album....but I would suggest telling your partner/kids you love them before falling asleep that night ;)
Rob runs a list of dates for people to nominate, so ask to be added if you fancy it.
Hmmm...one more than the number of copies sold :)I think he already gave it a 9.
