The annual how to get rid of trick or treaters thread

We could do what Lower Kersal Community School did

"After careful consideration, SCHOOL has decided not to have a Halloween dressing up day this year. Instead we will a special dressing up day for WORLD BOOK DAY in March 2015.
In recent years our school has become more culturally diverse and not everyone celebrates Halloween." Etc etc

Maybe soon this will be the norm.
Hopefully not, once the authorities get away with doing it for halloween they will start looking at what else they can do it with, Easter, Christmas?
Then we will have schools closing at different times, and if the schools get away with it then employers will follow suit leading to people being forced to work for normal rate on what are now public holidays etc
It would be horrible enough to have to work boxing day, but to have to work boxing day for normal time.....
