That's not really true. The club arguably have plenty of physical hold over 1894. After all, we need their permission to do displays, we store our flags and banners at the stadium, and we ask them to reserve seats for singing sections at home games and at Wembley.Well the other groups don’t ask for tickets or players to turn up to events. The club has no physical hold over the other groups. They don’t have any bargaining power to bring the other groups under their control.
More of a suggestion than a question but did you share the letter with the OSC prior to publishing? That's not really true. The club arguably have plenty of physical hold over 1894. None of the above stops us pushing back on issues like the ticketing ones we currently have. However, what must be stressed is that we don't have an issue with the club as a whole. There are many decent people who work there that we're in touch with and the relationship with those people helps make doing displays pretty much hassle-free and also allows us to organise the singing sections.
Like you, we don't expect the OSC to be as militant as the other groups but it would be nice if they were a bit more solid in their support for the various fan groups. If they were, I don't believe for one minute that the club would remove any privileges they get with regards to tickets and player visits. After all, Chris Bird hasn't worked there for donkey's years and if the club did go down that route then pretty much the whole fanbase would turn against them. The club aren't that stupid. This is more a case of a few individuals being tone deaf on certain issues that affect fans and us highlighting those issues to try and get them to listen.
Who do these pretenders think they govern?
Kevin Parker, an ongoing danger to the match going fan. Get your head out the trough.
I don’t think anyone questions how much work KP puts in and how dedicated he is to the club and supporters clubs. It’s very easy to have a go at the guy at the top. As someone who works every single day for my own branches members, and doing it out of love for the club… I speak for our branch when I say nothing but thank you to Kevin for the endless hours over a season he dedicates to the club.
You speak for yourself unless you have canvased your members. It’s very easy to have a go at the guy at the top. Kevin, as the OSC representative on City Matters, is actively working with that group on the issues of season tickets, the Flexi-Gold pricing structure and ticket prices generally.I don’t think anyone questions how much work KP puts in and how dedicated he is to the club and supporters clubs.
But maybe someone that has a personal relationship with him should have a word about reading the room over these protests.
Get real will you , most of the City Matters committee had to resign to bring the issue to the fore , no thanks to Kevin and his cronies who don’t have the backbone to stand up to the club .Kevin, as the OSC representative on City Matters, is actively working with that group on the issues of season tickets, the Flexi-Gold pricing structure and ticket prices generally.
He quite reasonably expressed his disappointment that the other groups published a statement that they didn't have the sense or courtesy to share with City Matters. Perhaps it's those other groups who should read the room.

Col maybe you should just come out of the citymatters WhatsApp group mate hanging off gossip and let the existing elected members just get on with it, it is like an trying to pretend you are still with an ex lover when it's over.Kevin, as the OSC representative on City Matters, is actively working with that group on the issues of season tickets, the Flexi-Gold pricing structure and ticket prices generally.

As I said yesterday, the OSC never has or never will rock the boat. That’s not their remit. Why didn't Kevin Parker consult the OSC members before deciding not to support the fans first protest? He obviously didn't read the room.
Who took that decision? And why did they take that decision? What were their reasons? And why didn't Kevin Parker as the OSC General Secretary canvas the wider OSC membership before taking that decision?
There is an OSC - X page. A poll/vote could have been set up allowing OSC members to vote for or against supporting the first protest.
It works both ways.
As I said yesterday, the OSC never has or never will rock the boat. That’s not their remit.
The OSC backed Swales 100% without asking for members opinions - and then backed Frannie Lee as soon as he took over.
They are there to support the club and in return get privileges for doing so.
It is if they know in advance what the likely outcome will be, and the top table don't want that outcome!I understand that.
Polling the OSC membership isn't rocking the boat.
