Would people keep Kolarov and Clichy as our LBs for a year if it meant getting Laporte, Stones, Gundogan, Pogba, Sane? (I think that would take up our budget)

Kolarov has to be off. He is a waste of a space in a Pep team. Angelino is U21 for both the PL and the CL and presumably is a much more attractive backup than Kolarov for someone like Pep. So I don't think we are actually shopping for a LB nor do I think we will keep the two we have.

After reading pep confidential and learning about the way Pep works, It is so comforting to know everything we do in this window is 100% calculated and done with a clear plan and idea.
We may or may not be disappointed with the signings and we may be surprised about the players pep decides to keep but remember Pep taught world class defenders at Bayern Munich how to defend. He turned a defender at the age of 30 into a world class midfielder.
He completely changed Riberys game for the better when many would say he is passed it or is in decline.

I personally think kolarov will be a great revelation under Pep. There is a technical extract in the book (which I can't post now and can't remember exactly) with regards to what he expects from a left back.
but it reminded me of Kolarov and he would be great. Does anyone ITK if Kolarov is leaving or not?

I don't think he taught a single Bayern CB how to defend.

I know kolarov is spending a huge amount of money on light fittings at present.
