Suárez?
We have bid Big O,s for somone
Suárez?
All I've seen from him and all I've heard from City fans is that Hart is bang average and makes too many mistakes and that under a weaker defence he'd be horribly exposed.
West Ham could probably spend a couple dozen, but so will everyone else at that level. The real money (hundreds) will be spent by us and United, with hopefully not forty of that going on a goalkeeper.
No we're after a black lad named John AgadooThe just an excuse to post your favourite pop video
****
Who knows lad, everyone asked the same about Aguero/Toure with City.
It'll have to be ridiculous money on an average signing (think Robinho/Jo) to get the ball rolling but still, I think £40m is too much.
Similarly to City languishing around the relegation zone until they were propped up with investment, Everton have been underperforming for over two decades now. The investment is simply propping us back up. It's not something your average club, such as West Ham, would be able to do
Neither club are going to do that with the 5% wage increase rule though tbh, we're in a better position in that we'll be getting rid of Toure and a couple of others on high wages giving us a bit of breathing room in that regard. Everton simply don't have the high earners to get rid of. Your last published wage bill was around £51m in 2014/15, that won't have changed drastically. It means the highest you can have your wage bill without any increases in commercial (not TV) income is £53.5m or so. So spending hundreds of millions? Won't happen I'm afraid, that's Premier League FFPR for you. It'll teach any club that gets investment not to vote for something just because un*ted and arsenal tell them to.The real money (hundreds) will be spent by us and United, with hopefully not forty of that going on a goalkeeper.
We all thought ffpr would kill the premiership and only a big team could ever win it ,pity Leicester didnt listen and give us a chance last season !Neither club are going to do that with the 5% wage increase rule though tbh, we're in a better position in that we'll be getting rid of Toure and a couple of others on high wages giving us a bit of breathing room in that regard. If rumours are to be believed, Moshiri's best mate Usmanov will buying the remaining shares of Everton this season and we'll have the second richest owners in the league, behind City of course.

As I touched on above, this isn't a result of TV money etc. This is because we have an owner who wants to play ball. Similarly to City languishing around the relegation zone until they were propped up with investment, Everton have been underperforming for over two decades now. The investment is simply propping us back up. It's not something your average club, such as West Ham, would be able to do. TV money can not afford them to place that much money on a standard goalkeeper.
