WAtford turning down 49mmill for a run of the mill player just shows that transfer fees are now based on Monopoly money. It's not real and spending 85mill would be equivalent to spending 30mill last year.
The club should just get it done, we don't need to worry about the numbers involved. He is on par, if not better than Sergio, would be a wet dream watching them two. Ugly toothy bastard but scores goals, get him in. He could be our van persie

Nolito and Sane. There is no space for Suarez i'm sorry. The math just doesn't add up. With Nolito signing we have 18/17 foreign spots taken. We basically have 1 too many already. If Sane comes we need to offload Bony and Nasri. We'd have to offload Silva, Navas, KDB or Aguero for Suarez. And from all reports Navas is safe for another year.

With Yaya, Zaba, Caba, Mangala, bony all apparently leaving im sure we would have space

Can't see his wife being interested, she hated England but money does have a funny way of changing the chemicals in the brain.

I'd live in Merseyslide if someone was paying me millions a year.

Perhaps knowing that he'll continue to be paid shit loads when he finally ends up at New York might keep her sweet. His family love it there and visit often.

He is definitely above Aguero, although I hate to say it.

Suarez is an absolute machine in front of goal and yes, he is a c*** of a person at times, he would be our c***.

No brainer for me and some have already alluded to it but £85M is absolutely nothing now the new tv deal has hit.

Pep's number 2 said the other day that city have done a lot for girona per's club in Spain
