Even if Yaya goes we will still need to lose another to get Kroos in. That's if we sell Fernando and Mangala as well. By my reckoning assuming Zinchenko stays, but if he doesn't we would need a left back. Unless Iheanacho qualifies as U21 but opinion seems to be he won't.

Can see Mangala being loaned this season - don't think we should give up on him just yet; it would be good to see him get a full season in the premier league at somewhere - even if we did have to pay some of his wages.

I think he will sign another cm if he feels he needs one, He's worked with a bare minimum squad for 1 day. I think it will take him a while to evaluate each player. Thankfully, Fernandinho, fernando, delph, nasri and yaya are all back at training, so his midfield will possibly be the first thing he's looking at.

Something that I don't think people are really thinking about is that when Soriano mentioned players still being at the euros, he wasn't necessarily referring specifically to our transfer targets.

It's naive to think only our club have done business that is just waiting on the final touches from players at the euros- there will be clubs we want to buy from who are waiting on deals of their own before they sell to us.

The euros ending should hopefully spark a domino effect for transfers and we'll maybe see faster movement soon after?

Mangala being at the Euros doesn't help Pep assess his centre back situation very well either.

I`m sure Pep wants midfield players who are comfortable on the ball and can keep it in tight situations. Despite is age and lack of mobility, Yaya is still one of the best.
Maybe we should accept he will no longer be making those powerful surging runs and just take him for what he is.

You even have an advantage for this match as training at Bayern starts July 11th with a lot of the players missing - we still have 8 players in the Euros.

There will be still "names" on the pitch. Badstuber and Robben started training after their injury times already Monday. Ribery, Alonso, Thiago, Bernat, Martinez, Rafinha etc. will be available. But there is e.g. no striker available...
