It's not our money though, and don't you think it'd be amazing to make a statement that would stop the media and casual fans blowing smoke up the rags arses and instead start to think of us in the same bracket as Real and Barca?

With a team including Bonucci, Kompany, Gundogan, Kroos, Silva, KDB and Aguero we would have one of the most impressive XIs in world football, up on a par with the likes of Bayern.

And we'd have 7 of the 10 best players in the league - Quite possibly numbers 1-7.

And on top of that we'd have Germany's best attacking prospect, England's best attacking prospect of his generation and a defender most pundits, coaches and journalists were saying could be the best English centre half of his generation as well.

Who gives a fuck about smoke and the rags when we'd be running away with the league and competing for trebles while Ibrahimovic plays some Kazakh team in the Europa?

But with the manager we've finally got, plus a lot of the class players we already have, with the financial backing we have why do we have to make it a very hard season? Why the hell don't we sign superstars and blow every fucker away? If we were skint I could understand it, but surely we can outspend the rags, yet we sit back and let them go for Pogba who we've seemingly been after for ages and would transform the side, and sign squad players like Nolito and Gundogan. Where's the ambition and killer instinct? We've let Utd off the hook big time with most of our signings over the last 3 years. For what we've spent we could have left those cunts far behind if we'd shown more imagination, bollocks and ambition in the transfer market.

Seeing Pep start as City manager and with the links to Kroos and Bonucci etc I just get the feeling we are going to go big this summer. We've been trying to get Pep for years and don't know that he will be here longer than 3 years, so we can't really afford a years adjustment period before then going all out in the transfer market. The ambition for the Champions League is clear and for that we need players to take us to the next level. Who knows who we will end up with but I'm now convinced there will be a couple of big signings. Looking forward to seeing who they will be.

Yeah, no complaints at possibly signing Bonucci as he is world class player, but we desperately need to sign another midfielder. It seems like we have banked everything on Kroos..

Who cares what they're worth, the transfer fees aren't playing vs other transfer fees (besides on BBC graphics when we play Leicester).

End of the day it makes them a much better side and instant title contenders if it comes off.
