Yet finished 4th - Scoring 71 ( Aguero / Bony )
2012 - Scored 93 ( Aguero / Dzeko / Tevez )
2014 scored 102 ( Aguero / Dzeko / Negredo )

I'd love us to have options like we used to have, with likes of Tevez, Dzeko, Negredo even Balotelli fighting with Aguero for a starting place, but that isn't sustainable! Not if you are going to be playing with one up top. You can't keep that calibre of player happy for long, if they aren't going to be playing most weeks. If there were indications that Pep was looking to play 2 up top, I would be totally with you, but it's looking like it could be Aguero up top alone, with a support cast that can cover him but at the same time get plenty of game time in different positions.

As for only finishing 4th last season, a lot of that has to do with us conceding over 40 goals. The first time since 2009/10!

Anything new today? Was hoping we would have something to cheer us up by now. Nowhere near flaptastic yet ages to go til window shuts but I am desperate for a transfer fix!! Anyone waiting outside a hospital with a flask yet, Barton aerodrome, or flight trackers? Too soon?

We're not Barca or Munich , different gravy

What makes you feel Sterling , Silva and 2 players that we have no idea how they will settle in the PL will score 20+ goals ?

You've got to stop with this 20 goals thing.
Who ever covers for Aguero only needs to get 20 goals if he is injured all season.
If he got injured and broke his leg first game of the season, then your argument is relevant.

We played the same pushover opposition as every other team and still scored more than them.

Pep Guardiola does not play with two strikers and City will not be playing with two strikers. Not sure who the 19 year old you're referencing is (Sane is 20, Moreno?) but KDB and Nolito are good for 30+ goals between them and, under Pep's possession-based style, we really don't need more than them and Kun.

Nolito hasn't scored more than 14 goals across all comps throughout his whole career yet you think he will do it in his 1st season in PL ?

You're wrong. We scored a lot of goals against pushover opposition (9 vs Bournemouth, 7 vs Newcastle, 6 vs Chelsea, 5 vs Palace, 5 vs West Brom etc), but equally there were numerous games when we were so lightweight up front we bordered on pathetic, and created next to nothing (Rags away, Liverpool home, Leicester home, Stoke away, Newcastle away, Sunderland away, Liverpool away, Arsenal away).
We need two new centre halves for sure, but we absolutely do need another forward as well (preferably of the powerful variety), and particularly given Kun's injury record. Relying on Sterling, Silva, Nolito and a 19 year old, who still falls only into the decent prospect category for me, would be foolish IMO

All day long

Did I say that? I said he and KDB together are good for 30+ goals. But yeah, Nolito was scoring for Celta Viga, I'd imagine being in Pep's system would only help him score more. Case in point: he netted 5 in 8 games for Spain this year.

Either which way, it's moot. Guardiola isn't going to be playing two strikers and no world class striker will sit around awaiting an injury to Kun. Your assertion that City need to sign another striker to win the league is nonsense and you have done nothing to back it up, even when looking at a year in which we had Pellegrini at the helm.
