We played the same pushover opposition as every other team and still scored more than them.
Pep Guardiola does not play with two strikers and City will not be playing with two strikers. Not sure who the 19 year old you're referencing is (Sane is 20, Moreno?) but KDB and Nolito are good for 30+ goals between them and, under Pep's possession-based style, we really don't need more than them and Kun.
Did I say that? I said he and KDB together are good for 30+ goals. But yeah, Nolito was scoring for Celta Viga, I'd imagine being in Pep's system would only help him score more. Case in point: he netted 5 in 8 games for Spain this year.
Either which way, it's moot. Guardiola isn't going to be playing two strikers and no world class striker will sit around awaiting an injury to Kun. Your assertion that City need to sign another striker to win the league is nonsense and you have done nothing to back it up, even when looking at a year in which we had Pellegrini at the helm.
City's policy of buying younger players for around 8 mill and loaning them out to gain experience is a clever one.
Some of those guys will be worth 40 million in a couple of seasons saving us a lot of money. The ones that don't make it will still be worth what we paid for them.
So Aguero plays, this new striker sits on the bench and is happy to, What happens to Kelechi ? You best tell Pep a false 9 is no good in England too.I meant Kelechi, and the folly of having just one recognised top striker in your squad for a 55 game season remains. We don't have to play two strikers at once, but that's a whole different matter from not even having the option for change on the bench. Lightweight false no.9's can kiss my arse in a league as robust as the Prem
