And talking of tools ...

Again another useless post,

We didnt beat a side in the top 4 last year,
We lost heavily regularly to average sides
We had 5 games at the end of the year to salvage a pretty poor year and we won 0 of them

Too many people on here dont dare to criticise due to the amount of naive people on here who are so bitter about united and other sides that they pass them off as insignificant and think oh we will be Ok we have Pep
United will be a bloody good side next year under Mourinho and he will be hell bent on proving Chelsea wrong and beating us as we are probably the side he dislikes most in the Prem going off his comments in the past..(Maybe arsenal too/Wenger etc!)

pep has proven himself to be a genius, but hes not a fucking miracle man. The side was in disarray at the end of last year and we havent gone half the way to improve that yet youre all so hung up in smugness about Pep that you cant see we have a fair bit of work to do yet. Nobody has come back at me with facts or structured opinions as to how we are going to revive what looks a bit of an ageing squad right now.

Just remind me how many days are left in this transfer window ? You appear to be the King of the Flappers.

Jesus christ. When have I ever said things arent going to change.
I said AS THINGS STAND so many times its almost boring. and Im right, as things stand we need another CM and probably full backs

Im saying the daft thing is people sitting here posting and defending what we already have here as good enough to take us to the level pep was clearly brought here to reach.

Im not flapping, its not my job or problem if we dont bring anyone else in.
I actually stated the long list of people we probably will sign too..

And the manager was replaced because of it.

Stop being such a Nancy and grow up. Do you honestly think we brought in Pep fucking Guardiola to piss our pants and panic buy in response to United?

For as bad as we were last year, United were worse. Their squad is filled with hasbeens and neverwasbeens and Mourinho bringing in some random defender from Villa Real for £StupidMillion, an aging Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is losing his touch in every way except his ability to alienate his teammates and Mkhitaryan, who had two poor years and one great one, isn't going to suddenly make them Champions.

Revive? Ageing Squad? Give over. "We" aren't going to do shit to the squad, that's Pep Guardiola's remit and he's the best in the world at doing it. So far we've signed Gundogan, a top class midfielder - Nolito, a goal scoring winger - Zinchenko, a swiss army knife youngster and a few others. That's certainly no worse than United have done, in fact, we've spent far less than they have and so I would argue we've done better.

It's 13 days into the transfer window and City still remain linked to Stones/Sane and a bunch of others. Either which way, if you don't think Pep can build a winner then you are severely underestimating him as a manager.

I did mention delusion didnt I hahahahah
Unbelievable.
I didnt say United would be champions, just they'd be a very good side which I think they will be under JM

Can I just point out, cause you're obviously pretty angry within your bias, you called Mkhtaryan someone who had two poor years one great one .. Ok
Then proceeded to name Nolito as a strength to us as a goal scoring winger (which hey lets hope he proves to be), but he is not a patch on the signing of Mkhtaryan..

If you want to compare the two clubs, which I wouldnt do and I wouldnt see the point of doing, then do it fairly.
Dont pass off their signings as poor then throw in one of ours who's proven nothing outside of Celta fucking Vigo yet.

Again Zinchenko I have high hopes for, but lets see whether he is given the opportunity this year,

You do need to calm down a bit

Everyone on here is a know fuck all.
Snippets are heard but only when it is when the I is being dotted and the T being crossed.
If the hierarchy think we can do anything without new full backs then more fool them.
Aguero will go missing through injury and we are short up front.
Sometimes those who make the decisions are too close to the woods they can't see the trees. Hopefully it will all sort itself out

Nolito hasn't done anything outside Celta Vigo? I suppose you don't count the Spanish national team then?

I'm perfectly calm. You need to stop wetting the bed over United.

He's broken into the squad after the age of 28 in what is a pretty average team, having been dumped out of the WC and Euros in disappointing fashion,
Many arent convinced of him in that team so c'mon, I want him to do bloody well here, but he's not really proven at the top level yet.

Again, hardly wetting the bed mate. All im saying is theyre looking to do business early and have made some statements so far in the market. You dont need to rate their signings, I dont rate Bailly but havent seen too much of him, but dont make out theyve done poorly and weve done brilliantly so far like you did; its not true. Opinions are opinions and its what these boards are for I guess, but no point thinking we are better than we are as we stand- we did that last year..
