He may have no intention of leaving at this point which may be why they announced it but I still don't think if offers come into him later in the summer that whether he accepts or turns down those offers will have anything to do with his shirt number or that Arsenal have announced it. If something came along that he fancied or the money was immense etc, I'm sure he would still consider his options.

I'd never pretend to be ITK mate, just something I heard today from someone at E&Y that chimes with what TH has said. As I said, I don't even know if anyone at E&Y would have any real knowledge about goings on at City. As for me, I'm a genuine KFA and, as far as I know, it could be complete & utter bollocks!

Aha nah mate, started lurking around bluemoon around 2010 but never thought to create an account as i was just content to read the drama, however Ive been caught up in Pep-Mania and just couldnt resist being part of the drama this time round, especially given the names we're being linked with this window, it's going to be a long one. Just hope we're spunking this money on quality like pogba.
