Stones? You think Stones will contribute to us being a killer force next season? In future seasons good chance but in the short-term, sorry mate. He struggled at times last season.

Bruno Peres, how much do you know about him really? People seem to have all the sudden got giddy about him too despite barely anyone knowing anything about him 2 months ago. I'm confident he will be a great signing but will need to do some work under Pep before he becomes "killer' and has something like the impact of Alaba.

They would improve us as a force no doubt, but not so much a "killer" force to do damage to the top teams in the CL.

Not purposefully trying to be a kill joy but looking at it objectively - not even that, just normally. Those names don't seem to be adding up with the reactions people are giving. You'd think Suarez was one of them from the reactions. There'd still be a lot of hard work to do with those names.

They're all quality players and the most important signing of Pep is the reason why we'll do fine. You see we have a plan on how to play and how the players will believe in his system. We will have a complete balance of youth and experience. I'm not worried at all. Heard we bid for Suarez here in the forum, maybe that might happen and that'll take our excitement to a whole new level.

Pep doesn't play with 2 strikers, he plays his main man and has wide forwards/ wingers/ attacking mid's around him and supporting him. We also could have Nolito, Kev, Sane and Sterling who could play as false 9's.
I realise that - he didn't at Bayern however Barca slightly different as the wide players of the 3, e.g. Villa and Sanchez really could play as proper strikers (of course Villa did at Valencia). As he's said, he hasn't got the system planned that he'll play with us yet.

Aubameyang would fit either the Bayern or Barca systems. Suarez fits the Barca system obviously but plays centrally - in this respect either Suarez or Aguero plays wide or one plays the Muller role.

Kev, Sane, Sterling as false 9 does not do us any favours against the likes of Barca, that's what I'm saying. The firepower isn't enough for me. Kev obviously a better shot out of those 3 but he's not anywhere near as reliable as an Aubameyang or Suarez to play that.

If it's true we're after Suarez, the right people at the club appear to agree with me. Suarez would have us firing on all cylinders. Aubameyang not to the same level but would be hugely effective playing a Ribery role.

The fact that we will not only be able to defend but defend as a unit also after the last 3 years of Manuel's defending.

I'm amazed at times.
Over the last 12 month or so,all I've seen is "Pep,best manager in the world"..."Pep changes players"...."Pep brings the best out of players"
Constantly blowing smoke up Peps arse, now his players are slowly being brought in,there is a load of face pulling????
Same old shit,different day.

It's far too early to say any of them couldn't play as a false 9, I personally think at this moment in time De Bruyne as the 9 with Nolito and Sane either side as wide forwards making diagonal runs in behind at goal could be lethal.

If your referring to the last few pages there's no face pulling. Everyone is rightfully hugely excited with what Pep will do. The discussion of the last few pages from me is just about bringing reality back into focus and not getting expectations out of hand with a specific list of names mentioned previously.

I actually wish @LoveCity wouldn't bother posting quotations from The Sun. It's clear they get their figures out of thin air and have no source of their own. Bit like quoting IndyKaila for me.

city watch seem to post every transfer rumor going now. i appreciate the info, but i remember them begin a bit more reliable in the past with information

Maybe we want to get excited and carried away with ourselves we do however have Pep Guardiola as our Manager, if u want to keep calm the crack on but please stop trying to piss on our chips.

Ha, it's a forum of opinions and reaction - I meant what I said there being my opinion but just making the point to the poster that nobody is face pulling. Not saying don't get carried away, just bringing some balance back to the board :)
