Like someone said the wicket is flat as expected but there is something there that the Aussies aren't making use of because they arent consistent enough. Will be good to see how well our bowlers do on this flat track especially Jimmy because if it doesnt swing then hes got to look to move the ball off the seam and bowl top of off stump imo

Cook you lucky sod. 2 poor shots now by the openers, almost identical. Nerves are getting to them as they are 2 very good cut shot players

Ye id like to see us still in until tea if we can then we can have around 2 hours at them and bring Swann on with about 8 overs left and try and pick up a wicket late in the day, get the night watchman in and knock him over

Just need to get to lunch without a 3rd wicket and maybe another 10-15 runs...then it'd be considered a pretty even opening session.

Was just going to say that if we go in around 90/2 then its definitely 1-0 Australia in terms of sessions. We have given away 2 cheap wickets and could've given away a 3rd just then. They have bowled 1 good ball all morning and that was the 1 that just went past Trotts edge from Hilfenhaus, yet we are 2 down.
