Apologies to the many down under Blues on here, but I have a pathological hatred of the Australian cricket team.

After Manchester United they are the supporting institution I loathe the most.

Indeed, I see many similarities between the two: dominant for the last 20 years, yet arrogant and utterly dislikeable at the same time.

Both teams are on the wane now and clearly not as good as they once were, yet still ruthlessly efficient at grinding out results. Grrr.

Clarkie bait?

he's pointing out the truth

nass and botham were talking about it earlier

the aussies got us out yesterday with full deliveries

we're bowling too short at the moment

Being an opening seam bowler myself who currently plays county level i can tell you that you mainly get wickets caught behind.

Its very rare that you will bowl someone at that standard never mind the australian first team, if we are going to be bowling full then we need the ball to be swinging and neither broad or finn swing the ball enough so they need to use their height like broad did with that bouncer too watson not so long ago.

The perfect length is just short of a length outside off stick but thats not gunna happen every ball.

Got to be up early with the kids, but am determined to see us take at least one wicket before I retire to bed. C'mon England.

They better get Finn on then or you'll won't go to bed tonight

I suspect the wicket I crave isn't forthcoming. Maybe I should just stay up for the entire day's play - it should finish just as the kids are getting up.

pro v amateur bowling, seen hawkeye's of harmison v amateur and the amateur's delivery hadn't even hit the pitch by the time Harmison's was on the stumps.

so you sit there letting katich leave every ball, and let england continue to produce bowlers who are too slow and can't bowl anybody out outside of english conditions.

thats a fair enough explanation

jimmy tho is, imo, bowling a shade too short, esp to katich

tho i'm a bowler you're probably more qualified to talk on the subject tho!!

who do you play for??!

To be honest, that little rat faced weasel is one of the less offensive members of the team these days, relatively speaking of course. It fluctuates on a daily basis, but today I am mostly hating Shane Watson. Yesterday it was Siddle.
