We have far bigger issues if we didExpecting us to breeze the qualifiers is a little naive IMO, particularly with a new manager and, likely new players bedding in

Yaya was carrying an injury you could tell. It didn't take a genius to work that one out. The whole team looked heavy legged and that impacted on their game thus making them unable to do the simple things like a 10 yard pass. The last couple of weeks have probably caught up with them and hopefully a couple of days rest and recuperation will see them back up to speed for the final 5 or possibly 6 games remaining. Can you really explain to me how player a could not complete a simple pass to player b (who on many occasions was only a few yards away) is the fault of the manager. These are international players not some muppets who have just learn't how to kick a ball.
I'm not defending his team selection, but to claim that poor passing lies at his door is just so wrong

Meant if we struggled to get through qualifying or didn't get throughSorry mate, read this twice and cannot understand your post
That's absolutely nothing to do with fate.Yeah you're right I mean our history doesn't suggest we've ever been a club that likes to do things the hard way. We certainly didn't get relegated the year after winning a title. Or score and concede over 100 goals in a season. We definitely don't seem to prefer to make life hard for ourselves and I'm pretty sure the QPR game never happened and that we weren't miles behind the rags at one stage. And I don't remember us losing at Anfield to almost end our chances of winning the league...but then winning it.

Ha ha yes I do. Thank you for the correction. You mean 6 possibly 7?
In those games there were four draws including the might of norwich city newcastle and an average dynamo kiev. So sounds great one defeat in ten games doesnt it, fact is we have been treading water at best. Change it to league games only and that defeat column goes up a lot. The fact is were in this fight for fourth quite simply due to stupid dropped points like last night and norwich a few weeks back and awful villa back in nov/dec whenever it was and the fact we have let our upper league rivals bum us every time. In this 6 or 8 weeks of fantastic form has our position strengthened or weakened?Which is?
You're right mate. We're treading water. I'm just trying to look at it with a glass half full attitude and only because as a club we're in a great place right now. But yes silly points dropped at silly places but on the flip side take out Leicester and Tottenhams amazing season and we're right up there but again it's been a weird old season where nothing has gone according to plan. Hopefully pep will iron out these inept performances. In those games there were four draws including the might of norwich city newcastle and an average dynamo kiev.
