If Villarreal wins Europa then there is no extra spot as they are already top 4
There's only an extra spot if the EL winner isn't in top 4
So we only have 31 teams then. Who gets the short group? Liverpool?
What's difficult to understand
Top 4 into the CL. A max of 5 teams per country are allowed in, so if City and Liverpool win their euro cups and both finish outside the top 4, then they qualify as holders and just the top 3 get in

I've just checked La Liga table and Atletico Bilbao could also finish fourth. Would that impact on our extra place if Liverpool won the EL, or is it just Villareal?
