We have a horrendous record v arse, that Adebayor game apart. But my reason to believe is simply that at some point this season we have GOT to do it against a rival. one of the stand out reasons were in this fight is our record against the top teams. The law of averages surely suggests we'll do one of em and they're the only ones left.

Southampton is tricky as they are still in hunt for Europe and also in between Madrid games, but still fancy us to win.

Arsehole have Norwich who are fighting to stay up so not a given.

Rags have Leicester, West Ham and also Norwich who need points

Basically it's ours if we turn up

No we don't. Since the takeover In 8 games v Arse at the Etihad we've won 5

Stand corrected, just can't recall us beating them of late apart from the full pitch sprint. Perhaps that was so memorable I forget the rest. When were the three we haven't won?

They beat us last season when we didn't turn up on the day. They beat us 3-0 once when Boyata got sent off in the first minute and I think one was a draw

You can't have already forgotten the 6-3 win from 2 seasons ago ????

win at Southampton (easier said than done) hope the rags drop points against Leicester then let arsenal get a draw at our place. Everyone wins apart from the rags

Back to the 'Who's on fourth' comedy skit for a moment.

(google it if you don't get the reference - it will be worth it!)

Serious question. If there is a place in CL allocated to the Europa winners but only if they are not qualifying anyway.

Then who gets that vacated place in the CL draw if it is not required because they do qualify via league position?

Does it up the number of teams for the highest qualifying nation from 3 to 4 - say?

Or is there a bye for some team in the draw?
