The battle for 4th place

Reading this thread makes me think that there are many who don't really have the backbone to follow City. Might I suggest they start watching Paris St Germain or Olympiakos

Arsenal is as rubbush as we are these days. Acting like we are certainly going to lose is kinda silly mates.

MP knows his legacy relies on this one, its his last home match, we will come out breathing fire and play with pace and heart.

Not saying itll be enough, but we wont be out there looking like shiite or give another half arsed effort. The players have been hearing the media and fans all week, and will want to prove everyone wrong. Never underestimate the "we are under dogs" mentality

The good news (actually amazing news given how dire we have been) is that it is entirely in our hands to finish 3rd still. Win two games with 7 clear days between them and that is done.

The old City would have done that without blinking.

The other good news if West Ham do not come back second half is that win tomorrow and we get top 4 with 2 out of the possible 3 results on Tuesday.

Only a United win would take it to the last match.

West Ham win or Draw means we cannot be caught due to our GD.

And it would still be in our own hands even with a United win.

We need that scenario desperately. Not some aspiration about other results going our way. Because they most likely will not.

So tomorrow is by far the biggest game of the season and someone needs to make them understand that fast.

They know it but its another thing to do what is required.

Arsenal are not much chop this season by neither are we.

Looking like West Ham will have their Cup final on Tuesday now lets hope so any way.

Hard to see them scoring 4 now in 35 minutes.

Wouldn't it be funny if Bournemouth beat Manure in the last game of the season.

The only problem is that even a West Ham win now on Tuesday and they are still likely to finish behind Manure.

You're missing the fact that we've lost all our other home games against the top 6.

We were very unlucky at home v Spurs and incredibly unlucky v West Ham. I accept vs Liverpool and the rags we were poor and lesicster did a job on us but our home form has been ok for several years under pellegrini. I think we have a good chance tommorrow and we need our fans behind us to get a very important result.

That is the mentality of someone who accepts and settles for mediocrity with the occasional moments of success.
I fell into that category for 55 years ,when the Sheik came all that should have changed.

We will win tomorrow and the shite will draw against West Ham meaning the Swansea game will be a dead rubber

If Southampton beat Tottenham tomorrow then West Ham could lose top 6 and Europe so that will either inspire them to perform Tuesday or to not perform (if they think that they can get top 4 next season if they do not have the complication of Thursday night football).
