As predicted by more than a few of us it went exactly to plan.
MP will now blame everyone except the real culprits.
But the truth is he should have gone as soon as top 4 was in jeopardy and that decision is now one more defeat away from killing next season.
Seriously so - in terms of signings, no CL, Thursday nights compromising league success hopes too.
We knew weeks ago it could come to this. So we should not be acting surprised.
That game was tossed away today. Our first team would have at least got a draw.
But MP wanted a Champions League Semi Final victory to get him a pick of jobs next. And that has dominated his thinking in the past few weeks.
Which really should never have been allowed.
