The battle for 4th place

Going to sound raggish but I don't give a fuck. The fact that we are in a 'battle' for fourth place given the expenditure is pathetic.

There's an awful lot of not good enough knocking about the club, starting with Pellegrini. Cannot wait for pep to start the player cull.

We,ll have strong side for arsenal and swansea games and yes our record havent been great against top sides this season but still with high stakes on the line, home crowd, players would be motivated and i expect city to do the job against arsenal and swansea away aswell. Apart from pep factor players themselves wouldnt wana miss UCL football, likes of debruyne, kompany, aguero, dino, hart would surely be trying their best and would do enough to carry us through

I hope you are right but this City squad is trying my patience. Just when I think we are getting it together with De Bruyne playing behind Aguero, we go an turn in a performance like we did at Southampton. Iheanacho is a positive.

We get complacent when we feel we have some breathing space, has been our problem since manchini, but with no room for that anymore i expect them to come through
 
I am a glass half empty, proper miserable negative miserable bastard, I know. but I just have this feeling that we have ballsed this up. I can't see us beating arsenal, and sods law Swansea have really picked up. Unless the rags and the hammers drop major bollocks, the way we have been playing, won't get us over the line

I hope im proved wrong, and will happily make a donation to charity if we do it, rather than making a bet with anyone

Half empty mate.

I really admire those who feel so confident - but it will take a "typical City" to qualify rather than how it should have been.
 
It's not that easy getting rid of the dead wood though is it, who's going to want to buy the useless fuckers

If we don't get 4th then I really hope it's not them (rags). The £75M boost will be just the lifeline that they need.
