Afternoon Danny.
I was wondering if you could tell me if it is ok to bring 300 inflatables to the Bayern game? Back in 2009 you may remember against Hamburg there were around 150 inflatables on view around the 110 area of the stadium which i brought with me, in an attempt to give us the kind of atmosphere we have craved since moving to the stadium and in hope to see us progress to the next round of the Europa League. Even though we won 2-1 that night, it wasn't enough to see us through as we lost 3-1 in the first leg in Hamburg, but i think you will agree the atmosphere was one of the best experienced at The Etihad since our move.
I would also like to thank the ambulance staff who were on duty in 110 that night. Now alot of people might agree with me here, but i really am full of hot air, but that night after attempting to blow up all of those inflatables, i thought i was going to pass out and had to spend time in the medical room due to exhaustion. You may laugh, but its a true story. I'm not one to give up, but boy, did i have a sore head for about a week after it.
Barring a miracle from Villareal, this time it is out of our hands, so why not celebrate our possible CL exit with a party atmosphere involving, fancy dress, inflatables, flags, streamers, confetti etc. I would also like to point out that all my inflatables have come from the internet and all carry the kite mark for safety and i dont really see there being any problems from a safety aspect with fancy dress, flags, streamers and confetti. Maybe tell Mario to leave the fireworks at home though, eh? I might even bring Fergiec**k. Please view link for picture of Fergie.

As you can see from that thread there is interest in this event, and the positive feedback is great, i also have an event page on Facebook, called The Bayern Party, advertising to as many fans that may possibly see it. I was wondering if City had any idea's to celebrate our first time participation in the CL too?
Ive been a City fan for a number of years, and for me this is what sets us out from the rest. While other fans might celebrate a win, or qualification to a later round of the competition, we're actually that mental we would celebrate going out of the CL. It'll look crazy to those watching across Europe, and the inflatables will also show part of our history. Sorry, forgot, we dont have any history.
Please can you help me, i've done all this off my own back, and my dad is even charging me double petrol money travelling from Scotland cos of the extra weight i will be adding to his car. He's English, im Scottish, and we are meant to be the tight ones, i seriously think he has been institutionalised from being over the border too long. Also, if the club says no, im going to be left with 300 of these things, and knowing my old man, he'll have a field day with storage costs.
Now that you know i am Scottish, i would also like to point out that in no way am i trying to make a fast buck. I plan to give these away for free within the stadium. Yes, that's correct, a Scotsman giving something away for FREE! I know you're probably sat there reading this thinking, Pot Pourri, or a bit menage a trois to you, but Pot Pourri it, im no Del Boy.
Anyway, mange tout Danny, mange tout
Thanks
Ric Ireland
