The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

Hmm- If you go on Twitter for tonights QT clips (I can't watch it in full any more) every one is followed/linked to a BBC article mostly critical of the Labour Govt - wonder why thats started this week and who instigated that?

Note how Louise Haigh explains that buying a weekly saver card/ticket is the answer Tory K jumps in to curtail the answer and just bang on about £15 pw - whatever happens the answer must not be allowed out

Mishal announced yesterday she is leaving the BBC - I wonder why

On a side note, I genuinely couldn’t understand why this even made the news. I mean is it newsworthy that a presenter leaves a Radio 4 news programme after 10 years or so.
It was the very definition of meh.

She's a very popular figure on radio 4.

I'm sure the cushion of being paid 4 times as much moving to Bloomberg will soften her personal blow.

Is she? I didn’t realise or appreciate that. I’m not being funny but is that just your feeling or has she featured on some ‘top presenter’ poll or something?

To me I was just a bit taken a back that this ‘news’ was worthy of comment, but than I suppose with all the social media platforms (and forums!), is there anything that isn’t worthy of comment these days?!

I found her ok as a presenter, did a decent enough, competent job, but that was it really, don’t feel strongly on her either way.
